Welcome to Waverley Primary School

Waverley Primary School is a Full Primary School catering for the needs of new entrant to year eight learners. The school has a rich history and is the heart of our wonderful township. Waverley Primary School opened in 1873. We have a growing school roll and dedicated staff who pride themselves in building positive relationships with our tamariki and their whānau.

The current staff take pride in ensuring that the education offered to your children continues to be of the highest calibre. We have a fantastic staff that are catering to the needs of a diverse range of students. We are developing skills as a staff with a relationship based learning approach. We offer meaningful learning experiences where children are encouraged to take risks in a safe environment to develop life skills that will enable them to ’Thrive’ in tomorrow’s world.
